On July 7th 2012 Kaiden went to his first "water park." Let's just say he is such a water baby. He LOVED putting his hands in and trying to catch the water. It was such a hot day he really didn't even mind when the water would get in his face. He also got to go on the swings at the park, which we are still practicing on doing. lol. He doesn't quite know how to hold himself up in the swing yet. I am definitely going to be taking him back to this park a lot as he gets older. It's called adventure island in settlers park in Meridian. It has a water part on during the summer, and a huge play ground.

Baby's first fourth of July

This year was Kaiden's first fourth of July. Technically we weren't with him on the fourth because me and Jake went out of town with some friends, but we celebrated his first fourth the Wednesday before at an event called the God and country rally. We watched fireworks, a lot of my friends got to meet Kaiden for the first time! He had a blast. Kaiden did not get scared by the fire works at all and was really into them and watched them almost the whole way through, and during the finally he actually passed out lol. Such a tired boy. We love you little man :)

The simple things in life :)

Being a mommy makes you think about so many more things in life, the beautiful things, that you have never thought of before. I am a teen mom but I don't feel like a teenager any more, and that's okay. I'm happier than I have ever been in life at this moment right now, I know who I am now, what I live for, and who I want to be. Here's things that make me so happy in life just from being a mommy:
-Waking up to Kaiden's smile in the morning.
-The way he giggles when he's "in trouble" make me forget everything in that moment but him.
-The way he sleeps on my chest so peacefully, he is truly an angel.
-How he looks at me and Jake, with so much love.
-How he tries to eat EVERYTHING he picks up.(:
-How he wants to do everything on his own
-The face he makes when he tries something new (baby food.)
-How he screams and laughs when we tickle him.
Kaiden is what inspires me to be a better person.
I never do anything with out thinking of him first, even when I'm not with him.
I have someone looking up to me, to be their mommy, their protector, so nothing
in this world can hurt him. He is the smallest person yet has the most meaning in my life.
I love you baby boy<3

5 1/2 months old

Kaiden is almost six months now! WOW! How time flys. It feels like I had him just a few months ago. Kaiden is learning a lot of new things. He has rolled over from his tummy to his back at least 6 times and is currently practicing rolling onto his tummy. He's a little over 15 pounds right now and is still in size 2 diapers. He currently eats about seven oz. every four hours. Sometimes three. He LOVES baby food! He has had pears, sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas and peas. Last night we tried feeding him organic baby rice cereal which was a definite NO. lol, as you can see from the pictures below. He also went swimming for the first time as well! He loved the pool which was no surprise to me because he loves bath time. :) Kaiden is now in size 6-9 month clothing but can still fit in some of the carters 3 and 3-6 month clothes. His six month appointment is in a couple weeks, but I am thinking about switching pediatricians. I am anti-vaccine and am looking for a doctor who respects that and doesn't treat me and my son differently because of that decision. Anyways, Kaiden is a TOTAL daddies boy. He gets so excited when his daddy gets home he'll even stop eating and start giggling when he see's Jake. It melts my heart seeing those two together because I see how happy Jake makes Kaiden. Kaiden learned how to blow bubbles "rasberries" and does that all the time now. He doesn't that much but is slowly finding his voice. Everyone that meets him says how quite of a baby he is and say that most babies they meet just cry all the time lol(: He doesn't cry much at all, only when he's hungry or when we're outside and the sun gets in his eyes, which is why we got him some sunglasses (picture below). That's about all of the new stuff for Kaiden, :) I still can't believe he's about to turn six months old!

4 1/2 months old!

 Kaiden is now four and half months old, fifteen pounds and 23 inches long with a head 17 inches around. :) He is growing so much. He rolled over for the first time yesterday May 19, 2012. Kaiden can now grab his feet and toes and he loves sitting up all the time. This month he also tried baby food for the first time! Smashed up bananas, and he loved them :D I only fed him bananas a couple times because he is still pretty young, but every time he they would get close to his mouth he would open his mouth and suck on my finger for more. His clothes are getting tighter and tighter as he grows  every day and he can still fit in 3 months clothes but he fits best in 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes. He loves music and also when people dance for him he gets so giggly and excited its so adorable! He is also starting to grab things a lot more such as mommy's hair and his toys lol.

Quick Update :)

Kaiden is doing amazing. Just a quick little update. (: Mommy life is so much fun and I couldn't imagine not having our baby boy in my life. He is my entire world, Everytime he smiles or "talks" it melts my little heart. You really can't describe to someone who's never been a mommy before how amazing and special it is. It really is true that there is no greater love than a mothers. Kaiden is almost 3 months old already which seems absolutely crazy. It does not seem like 3 months has gone by, from the labor part and being in the NICU for a week. He has grown to be the happiest baby. Smiling and "talking" all the time. (Except when he's hungry of course). lol. He sleeps all night long from about eleven at night until ten in the morning. He eats 8oz. every 4 hours, and from what I hear he's quite the little hunk eating that much haha, unless he is on another growth spurt. At his 2 month appointment which was on the 14 we found out he is a little over 12 pounds and 22 inches long. The Doc also said he has a really big head. It had grown an inch and a half from his last appointment. In the pictures below that we got taken he was about 2 and half months old. We plan on getting some more taken in about 3 months when he will be 6 months old. Also at his 2 month appointment we decided not to get him any shots by weighing the risk factors and the probability that he would get it. When researching each shot we found out how much bad things are actually in them and at 2 months getting that many shots is a lot for a babies body to take. Anyways, next month I start signing up for my classes to go back to school... YAY! And only another 3 semesters and I will have my associates out of the way. I have also been working out everyday lately to loose the baby weight.. I've lost 3 pounds so far and 2 inches off my waist! I'm gunna get the body I want for summer time(: haha. Also no more babies for awhile.. haha. I got the paragard and it lasts up to ten years.(:. So to sum this up everything is going great at the Swapp residents. Thank you all for your support<3

2 months old now!

Kaiden turned 2 months old on March 9th. He is doing awesome! He is the happiest baby and is always smiling. He is getting so big. He is now a little over 12 lbs. His 2 month doctor appointment is tomorrow, so we'll see how much he has grown! Everything at the house is good. Jenks is good, Kaiden is good and me and Jake are doing awesome. I love being a mommy to my baby boy. I wouldn't change things for the world.  Summer is approaching fast which means I am going to be going back to school :)  which I am excited about.
